Petition Action

Cease Filibusterfling within Parliament.

Petition Details

Filibustering is a tactic used to obstruct or delay a legislative action by prolonged speechmaking.

We give our liberty away for democracy by electing politicians to administer and operate our society, on our behalf. Filibustering is an insult to the privilege ,we, the citizenry give the elected.

Additional Information

Fun fact time - The English term "filibuster" is derived from the Spanish filibustero, itself deriving originally from the Dutch vrijbuiter, "privateer, pirate, robber'
