Link MPs Pay & Pension to those of most Junior Government employees
The creation of a legally binding link that ties the annual pay and pension increases of all members of Parliament to the annual pay and pension increases given to most junior levels of these professions: Doctors, Nurses, Servicemen, the Civil Service and Emergency workers.
A method to bind together the leaders of our society and the lowest paid, to ensure that there is balance in government pay
If Parliament award themselves 10% the lowest paid get 10%, if the lowest paid gets 1% Parliament gets 1%

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government and Parliament don’t have the power to set MPs’ pay and pensions. That power was given by Parliament to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) in 2010, so that after 2012 MPs no longer had control over their own pay.
