Make homophobia & homophobic language in schools have more severe consequences
I hear the phrase 'that's so gay' on a daily basis and I'm sick of young people using others sexualities as an insult . It is a form of bullying and many don't realise how it can effect an LGB youth. I want to raise awareness in schools and help teachers to notice and do something about it.
Stonewall have really given us an insight to homophobia within secondary schools and I've learnt a lot from their website.

You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Disciplinary procedures in schools are a matter for individual schools and not the UK Government and Parliament as a whole. You could start a petition calling on the Government to introduce guidelines for schools on how to deal with homophobia.
