Stop college lecturers taking 32 days of strikes

Petition Details

Lecturers are taking 32 days of strikes over pay discrepancy bit this will mean that 1000's of students will not be able to finish there coarse,wasting a year of there lives and may not be able to get funding for 16/17or advance due to the lack of funding due so many failed coarses in 15/16

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. These strikes are taking place in Scotland, and as education is a devolved matter this is something the Scottish Government is responsible for. That means that the UK Government and Parliament can't look into it.
