We need a National Alan Turing Remembrance Day.
Alan Turing and his team at Bletchley Park broke the German Enigma code & undoubtedly shortened WW2, & saved many lives. He died, surrounded by a curtain of shame & secrecy relating to his sexuality. Our society/media makes heroes of unworthy celebrities, & forgets those who have truly achieved.
