Allow residents of Hull & East Yorkshire have a choice of internet providers.
For many years the residents of Hull and East Yorkshire have been prevented from accessing a choice of broadband internet and phone line providers. Local company Kingston Communication runs the line preventing customers a choice of providers and also means that they can determine there own costs.
Kingston Communication (KC) is a local broadband & phone line provider around Hull & East Yorkshire, they own the line meaning that residents can only have services provided by KC at vastly extortionate prices compared to companies such as Sky a& Virgin for example. The quality of the internet provided by KC is also of a poor quality compared to other companies and areas around the country. The aim of this petition is for the government to force KC into disbanding there control of the area.
