In addition to the tax on sugar, abolish VAT on fresh fruit and vegetables.
The chancellor has just brought in a tax on sugar to encourage healthier eating habits. We call on the chancellor to now abolish VAT on fresh fruit and vegetables to further enhance the chances of persuasion of the public to healthier eating habits.
