Keep the last Invincible class aircraft carrier, HMS Illustrious for the nation.
The MOD had previously promised that HMS Illustrious would be preserved. She is the last in class, as the other iconic British carriers, Invincible and Ark Royal have both been scrapped. We have kept HMS Belfast moored on the Thames and the people hardly relate to that ship as they do to Illustrious
