No single news item should consume >20% of a news channel's output
In a bid to encourage better journalism and to prevent the 'burying' of news items, I propose a limit on the amount of output a 24 hour news channel can devote to a single story.
Opting-in to a major news story with a 'red button' option would be favourable to dictating which news the public should hear.
