Retain parent governors in all schools. Don't let others decide their future.
Removing parent governors from schools alongside the removal of local council management of schools and a national curriculum is a centralisation of complete control over schools by private business through the use of a statutory instrument and is undemocratic in every way.
This government is introducing more and more legislation through the immoral use of statutory instruments. In their place these are a useful tool for allowing tweaks to agreed existing legislation. This government is using many small instruments to achieve a greater overall change, avoiding debate so we do not notice "how much elephant they have consumed in small chunks."
