Prevent MPs and their families from using private health and education services
MPs and their immediate families should be prevented by law from using private health and education services and should instead have to rely on the public services they control.
Would MPs be supporting a new Junior Doctors' Contract that is considered by most of the medical profession as 'dangerous' if their own family had to rely on the NHS? Would they be happy to send their own children to academies staffed by unqualified teachers? If 'we are all in this together', MPs should not be allowed to make extreme cuts and drastic changes to the public sector safe in the knowledge that their own care is managed privately.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a decision for individual MPs and their families, not a matter for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
