Reinstate winter fuel allowance for the colder areas of Europe
Northern and inland areas of France have temperatures in winter which are lower than those in the UK. Other areas of the EU also have lower temperatures and should also to be allowed to receive this allownance
Average annual temperatures can be obtained from local Meto stations which would support the claim that the temperatures are equal to or lower than those in the UK in the winter months when heating is required.
