Re-instatement of National Service for all young men and women resident in UK
Re-instatement of national service for all young men and women who are permanent resident in the UK. The service would be military or a service for the benefit of the nation (e.g. nursing). The service would be residential and remove the person to a random location, ensuring that different communities would mix/local affiliations broken. Commencment upon turning 17, may be delayed until after completion of full time education. Mandatory for all under 23 upon enactment, participation will have no upper age limit, community based service so no conscientious objectors. People who avoid cannot live/work/claim benefits in UK.
