Offer shopkeeper Asad Shah a posthumous state service.
Mr Shah was a credit to his community and a fantastic representative for Great Britain. He was a Muslim shopkeeper murdered in a suspected 'religiously prejudiced' attack after posting 'Happy Easter to all Christians' expressing a hope that Christians and Muslims can come together.

You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government and the House of Commons do not have the power to decide that someone should receive a state funeral. You can find out more about this here:
http://researchbriefings.parliament.uk/ResearchBriefing/Summary/SN06600
You could start a new petition asking the House of Commons to ask the Queen for a state funeral to be given, and for the House of Commons to provide the money for a state funeral.
