No blame approach to adoptive parents when disruption occurs

Petition Details

Add a new entry box Children's Act 1989 Part IVsec31: "has complex medical and/or psychological reasons". This is a neutral and no blame approach to the breakdown where parental love and devotion are not the issues when adoption disruption occurs.

Additional Information

CARE ORDER Form C110A fails to protect natural and adoptive parents whose child is returned to Care for complex medical and/or psychological reasons. As per Children's Act 1989 Part IVsec31, reasons: • not receiving care that would be reasonably expected from a parent, or • is beyond parental control

Add new entry box in Section 4: "has complex medical and/or psychological reasons". This is a neutral and no blame approach to the breakdown where parental love and devotion are not the issues.
