Revise Sch. 3 of the Infrastructure bill to protect ownership of public land.
This schedule is wrapped up in obfuscating languge that many MP's would not have understood. It is profoundly undemocratic in that local people will have no say over the sale of public land. It overides existing laws designed to prevent this.The Government is overiding local people/democracy
Every law designed to protect publicly owned land is to be overidden. The Government says this clause will only apply to surplus public land, but does not defines what surplus land is. The Government will have the final and only vote on any decision.
