Stop the littering of our A & B Road verges they are looking like landfill sites
Every day road side verges get worse especially in the countryside. It is wide spread all over the country North & South. It includes bottles, bags, wrappers, takeaway food boxes everything.It is mainly people throwing items from cars. Start fining people or use offenders to clean up.
The littering of road verges seems to have increased substantially in the last 5 years. At this rate I shudder to think what great Britain will look like in 20 years. There is absolutely no need for it and it wants stopping. They have cameras all over our road network for vehicle offences the same cameras could be used for littering.
