Petition Details

The role of Police and Crime Commissioner should be independent of Party Politics. There is no place in Policing for Party Politics. It should be made unlawful for PCCs to put Party Politics before the Public Interest.

Additional Information

There are numerous examples of Party affiliated PCCs putting their Party before the Public Interest, this should be made unlawful.
