Ban Fixed Odds Betting Terminals - Or Limit Stakes To No More Than £2 Per Game.
Fixed odds betting terminals in all bookmakers accross the UK ruin lives. They are a huge money maker for the people who own them but cause many problems. These machines should either be banned or limited so that no more than £2 can be staked at any one time.
As it stands anyone 18 or over can bet (lose is a better term) up to a maximum of £100 a spin which can be done approx every 35secs. These machines are unfairly fixed. The odds are forever against the player. But are highly addictive and cause detremental problems to an individuals personal, social, family and professional life. Gambling should be enjoyable and fun. Therfor there is no need for these machines to allow you to spend such large amounts at once. Ban them or limit them.
