Street cleaners to take run over cats to the vets to be identified.
After losing my cat and finding she had been it by a car, it was suggested she was swept up off the street by street cleaners and put in a bin bag. This news was devastating regarding my beloved family pet. I propose street cleaners to: 1, take the animal to a vets and/ 2, carry a microchip scanner
After searching on social media and canvesing the streets for my pet, I found I was not alone in the situation. Many people could not believe that cats were not treated the same as dogs and they were just thrown into a bin. The hardest part is the Unknown, not knowing if the animal was yours or where they had ended up.
