Animal cruelty: Make punishments harsher for those who are cruel and/or abusive.
Punishment should be increased.
The UK's animal welfare law is way too lenient for animal abusers to worry about. If the law was tougher, maybe people would think twice about committing such vile acts in the first place.
Animal abuse does not get the recognition or legal action it deserves.
