Stop the repeal of animal welfare codes in the meat industry.
Ill-treated meat is bad for the consumer, for the animal, and for the environment. We need clear legislation and regulation for our own as well as animals' welfare. The government wants to remove this, and put the industry in charge of regulating itself - a system clearly open to corruption & abuse.
