Make assaulting an SIA security person a specific offence.
Many individuals working within the security sector are assaulted by the public. This is often seen as a hazard of the job by the public and courts.The security sector is part of the wider police force. A specific offence of assaulting an SIA person would reduce incidents of violence against them.
