Support current policy which provides a fixed 0.7% of spending on foreign aid
The current policy of providing a fixed percentage towards foreign aid is one which genuinely deals with causes not symptoms. Although it is not be perfect, its aim in helping other countries deal with their own problems at source means that subsequent issues of mass emigration can be ameloriated
The current "Mail on Sunday" campaign to end the "madness" is short sighted and needs to be challenged
