the stopping of legal aid for family law and domestic violence should be halted
Legal Aid was originally started to help fund access to the legal system when they were unable to self fund
An illegal immigrant cost the tax payer £131,000 which is being taken from an already over stretched budget. I personally have been fighting for legal aid for a year and am still fighting for this

We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. You could start a petition calling on the Government to undo the changes to civil legal aid, which includes family law and domestic violence.
You could also start a petition calling on the Government to reverse its cuts and remove the income thresholds to be eligible for legal aid.
