changes to UK spouse Visa, so Its easier for people of the UK to marry abroad
The current Non EU spouse Visa requires the UK partner to submit 7 calendar month payslips, 6 month bank statements which has at-least £3600 savings if he or she earns £18K per year.
For an average UK citizen who lives and works in London earning just above the national minimum wage is very hard
After getting married abroad, coming back to UK and finding a job which pays enough per year to sponsor a spouse is hard
After getting a job waiting for 7 calendar months payslips is hard staying here because your spouse is abroad
Finally £3600 savings for 6 months, someone on a £8.30 an hour job, is very hard after paying rent, commuting and food expenses.
The government doesn't care how many marriages are broken, marrying a girl or boy from outside UK is always a big regret NEEDS CHANGE
