Make social networks more responsible by verifying its users.
Social networks like Facebook don't allow anyone below the age of 18 to join their website. However, there is no verification process in place to enforce this. Profiles can be faked easily. Underage registration and exposure to all sorts of things - good and bad (mostly) is common.
This is resulting in all sorts of social problems that we are seeing every now and then -
Getting influenced by terrorists
Getting bullied
etc
Age verification should be enforced legally to avoid fake profiles. Facebook, for example, can link to credit reference agencies to verify identity and age. Such information should be visible on friends and "friend requests".
Facebook penetrates our lives very intimately and is not a virtual world anymore that can stay unregulated.
