Repeal the 2011 fixed term parliament act
The fixed term parliament act was designed to maintain stability of government for coalitions, not for majority government. This act is being used as a barrier to democracy when the government of today is failing those who elect them and so should be repealed
Numerous petitions have been raised demanding an election and the fixed term parliament act used as an excuse for ignoring those calls.
This country is supposed to be democratic, return at least an opportunity to democratically remove a government who has lost the confidence and support of he people they are elected to serve. Repeal this act!
