Stop proposed demolition of interwar residence "Cawthorn", 6 The Firs CV5 6QD
The house is a significant building, constructed in the 1930s by local builder E. Harris & Sons. Its overall proportions and fine detailing of the brickwork, make it one of the most attractive and important houses in the whole of Earlsdon. Cawthorn deserves to be listed, restored and preserved.
The new owner's intentions are to demolish and replace this house with two new modern dwellings, which are out of character with the eclectic mix of high quality homes in The Firs.
