Help me to get my son back to England
I am a british born woman in Iraq. My son was born here in 2013 and I thought it would be pretty simple getting him a passport but it isnt. Nobody seems to want help me. I am desperate to leave Iraq but cannot leave my son behind. I just need somebody to listen. My family back in the uk need me
We came to Iraq in 2012 as it is ny husband hometown. My son was born here but now I cannot get him a passport to take him back to England with me. The Home office are telling me to go to Jordan Embassy and I cannot get there. I need somebody to listen and to help me get my son back home with his mother where we all belong. My family and my daughter back in England need their mum back with them.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's not clear what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take to help you. Petitions need to ask for something specific from the Government or Parliament. They're not usually an effective way of getting speedy help with a personal case.
This might be something that your family in the UK could raise with their local MP. They can find out who that is here:
http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/
They might also be able to seek advice for you at their local Citizens' Advice Bureau. There is more information about immigration issues here:
