Too long roadwork sections. Max 4 mile at any one time??
Thousands of man hours a day lost sitting in traffic. Tens of thousands of pounds list in fuel costs and millions of pounds lost in late and cancelled deliveries. I drive for a living and have seen the delays get worse and worse each year instead of bettrr
4 mile max sections would make a massive difference less vehicles breaking down and overheating due mainly to long delays

We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. You could start a petition calling on Parliament to change the law to ensure that roadworks do not exceed 4 miles in length.
