Immigrant Housing Issues
Most of us would agree that true refugees should be housed, but at what cost?
I call on all people to stand up against two things:
1) Refugees having an option on housing and where they live
2) High rent prices from landlords, who effectively get their mortgage paid off by the taxpayer. The Government must cap the rental prices per region and also prevent a family turning down a perfectly good property for reasons such as 'I want to be closer to my friends'.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
