Make public land available free of charge to community sporting groups
Community sports are a vital part of creating a healthier and happier population. To enable the greatest participation public land should be made available to non profit groups who can show that they are properly organising their event to benefit the community and mitigate any impact.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The use of public land and the charges that are incurred for its use is dependent upon which public body owns the land. For example, some public land is owned by local authorities, as such public land owned by local authorities is the responsibility of those local authorities and not the UK Government and Parliament as a whole.
