Consider a vote of no confidence in the current Government
The Cabinet Office response to "Call a general election in 2016" is likely to be rejected based in their response. Under the Fixed-Term Parliaments act 2011, we propose that the Commons vote on the motion: “That this House has no confidence in Her Majesty’s Government.” (Section 2, subsection 4)
The Cabinet Office response to the last petition makes it unlikely for the previous petition to be debated in Parliament. We therefore call on the British People to sign this petition in line with current legislation of the Fixed-Term Parliaments Act 2011, asking that Parliament debates a vote of no confidence in the current Parliament. Erosion of public services, victimisation of the disabled and working class, and a mishandled economy all serve as justification for this.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
