Free parking for blood donors on their day of donation at their local donor ctr
Why should we thousands have to pay to give blood.
Cut us a bit of slack and do us a favour.
It is not something that my local East Cheshire council think is a good idea. They suggested that I personally speak to the NHS so that the donor centres can be moved to venues where none paying car parks are available.
A timeline and logistical nightmare.
Where do we get these councilors from surely not this planet?
Its not much to ask just to give the donors a valid day sticker in their supplied donor paperwork for the local blood bank car park when it is in use and pay and display.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. The UK Government and Parliament is not responsible for providing free parking for blood donors this would depend upon where the donor centres are located and who owns the car park. You could start a petition calling on the NHS to select venues for blood donation where free parking can be secured.
