Free jailed Ex SAS veteran Albert Patterson
Ex-SAS hero who took an Argentine soldier's handgun during the Falklands War and kept it at home to remind him of his fallen comrades has been jailed.
Albert Patterson, 65, kept the 9mm self-loading pistol in his cellar as a tribute to the 22 colleagues who were killed during the 1982 conflict.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government and Parliament are not responsible for releasing people from prison. You could ask the Government to ask the Queen to exercise the prerogative of mercy.
You could also start a new petition calling on Parliament to change the law, to prevent cases like this happening in the future. This is likely to be more effective than asking for a court sentence to be overturned.
