Diane Abbot pay back all £11,750 of tax payers money she used on an oil painting
Diane Abbot spent £11,750 of the tax payers money for a self portrait. This was not an expense to be claimed on tax payers money, she should have paid for it her self. Make her pay all that money back, and get it to be used for something worthwhile.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. The work was commissioned by the Speaker’s Advisory Committee on Works of Art, and not Diane Abbott herself.
The Committee commissioned a number of works of art at the time. You can find out more about the role of the Committee here:
http://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/other-committees/works-of-art/
You could start a petition calling on the House of Commons not to spend money on commissioning art.
