Abolish stamp duty
I can't see what the government does to earn the right to charge stamp duty, nor what those who pay this receive in return. Given that the duty paid on a house costing £300,000 would amount to £9000 one might expect something in return. An unfair, unjust tax which punishes those who move house more than others.
