Claimants of Jobseeker's Allowance to earn their benefit money.
I feel that Jobseeker's Allowance is an easy lifestyle choice for those who don't want to work.
It encourages them to do nothing at all for their money. Giving no concept of life, and draining any motivation to work.
Community/voluntary style work should be offered in order to earn Jobseeker's, I feel this will be far more beneficial. This will keep people in a working routine and also encourage them to progress onto better opportunities.
Jobseeker's Allowance should be treated as a wage, therefor if the claimant fails to work in these voluntary positions their money is to be stopped.
This will save money within the benefit system as well as getting claimants into a routine of working for their money.
