Petition Details

David Cameron has spent millions of tax payer’s money on a pro-EU leaflet. This has been delivered to every household in the UK. This was approved by the government using taxpayer’s money. We believe the UK government should debate giving the exact same amount of money to the Leave EU campaign.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. As the Government is not considered a permitted participant under the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000, it cannot donate to campaign groups.
