MP's cannot be excluded from uk money laundering laws.
The government recently announced that uk money laundering rules will not be applied to MP's. The public need to know that MP's are working for the country and not engaging in activity that's illegal for the public.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
MPs are not excluded from money laundering laws. We think you're referring to the Bank of England and Financial Services Bill, which is currently before Parliament. That Bill will regulate "politically exposed persons", including MPs and their families. You can find out more about what the Bill says about this here:
