Petition Action

Government and the BBC has divided society's values, families and generations.

Petition Details

No one cares about the treatment and care for our older community and the effects on their families that illness and age brings to all of us. This is the generation who have given their working lives and life time, and contributed to the generations of governments fiscal needs.

Additional Information

These are the people who can’t get this time back or help getting fund raising employment in the so called integrated society of today.
The UK urgently now needs a balanced and fair society for all our age groups, and focus not just on the younger generation, and education, or other functional public services. A model that enables fairness to be seen, and delivered for the whole of society encouraging all age groups that it is both rewarding, and morally fulfilling to be actively involved in supporting society. Government policies and the bias media world of the BBC have been active in dividing values, opinions, families, and generations, and the people of the UK deserve better consideration, all of us.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. You could start a petition which outlines what specific action you would like the UK Government and Parliament to take.

In thinking about the action you want, you should bear in mind that the BBC is independent of the Government and Parliament. That means we can't accept petitions about its editorial or operational decisions.
