PREVENT TURKEY FROM JOINING THE EU.
Turkey have relaxed their agreed action to 'seal borders' and prevent travel to Greece. As reported in the Daily Express, 23 April, 2016, this has broken down. Further, it has been reported that Turkey have seized Christian Churches.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the issue you raise is not the responsibility of the Government or Parliament. The UK Government and Parliament do not have the power on their own to prevent Turkey from joining the EU. They could however oppose its entry to the EU. You could start a petition calling on the Government to urge the EU not to let Turkey join.
