Tell teenage girls that they are beautiful no matter what size or shape the are.
I have often felt unhappy with my apperance. I felt like everyone was prettier and that I could never be like the people I admired who looked like they could look good in a dress made of tin foil. I hate to think that young girls will grow up thinking that they need to be a size 0 to be beautiful.
Although some people think that size zero should be abolished because it sends the wrong message, I believe that would just be like taking away size 8 and saying 'people who are that size can't be a good example, let's make sure that they can't be models!' Why should girls be judged on how they look when we are all taught about equality and diversity?

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. You could start a petition which outlines what specific action you would like the UK Government and Parliament to take.
For example, you could start a petition calling on the Government to fund an advertising campaign to promote a positive approach to body image.
