Get companies to stop late payment charges.
Have you noticed that if you pay your bills early or on time and on just 1 occasion you are late with payment the company makes a charge. I don't think this right and good customers shouldn't be treated this way. Nearly all companies do this e.g Virgin, Talk talk etc.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the issue you raise is not the responsibility of the Government or Parliament. That is an operational decision for individual companies. You could start a petition calling on Parliament to change the law, so that companies are not legally allowed to apply late payment charges.
