European migrant should not be able to vote in the eu referendum
For this to be a British vote it should be made by the British people alone eu migrants should be dismissed from the vote expecially since British people abroad are not allowed there vote

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament.
The franchise (that is, the rules about who is allowed to vote) for the EU referendum is based on the franchise for Parliamentary elections (which does not include EU citizens resident in the UK), with the addition of Members of the House of Lords; and Commonwealth and Irish citizens who can vote at European Parliamentary elections in Gibraltar. Other EU citizens cannot vote in the EU Referendum.
