Additional Information

Britain urgently needs more gas-powered electricity generation within the next decade. Nuclear power not only produces dangerous waste but is also too expensive without taxpayer subsidy. Wind powered generation is a fool's paradise inhabited by politicians and greenies, these same people fail to see the advantages of tidal power.
The government, in approving all new power generation, should use an additional TEST - "Would this proposed new power station be acceptable if built here in Whitehall?"
