CHANGE THE NAME OF MENTLE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
I AM A 36 year old women who used to suffer with mental health conditions as a child growing up the word mental had a massive INPACT ON THE MIND
mental health is includes DEPRESSION . ANXIETY . ADHD . AUTISIM . EMOTIONAL PERSONALITY DISORDER . MANY MORE
my whole life I have had mental health been on medications but my experience along with others the word alone makes you feel like your crazy it prevents you from seeking help people that do not understand it will relate to you as crazy person this has massive impact on the mind as a child and adult by changing the name I believe the stigma attached to it will help many people around the world ALSO HELP THE DEPARTMENT
its a big vision on the mind the word MENTLE
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. It is not clear what department you would like to change the name off. If you are referring to the use of 'mental health' in the NHS then you could suggest an alternative name and start a petition calling for the NHS to use that alternative word.
