Stop restaurants from forcefully adding service charges to bill!

Petition Details

There is an intrusive figure, which is usually added to the total without the customers consent, and we are usually left feeling forced to pay. There are establishments who do not disclose this as service charge however, have this value hidden in the total without your knowledge.

Additional Information

Here is the definition of theft under the 'Theft Act 1968' in English Law."A person is guilty of theft if he dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it; and “thief” and “steal” shall be construed accordingly."
