Make it illegal for job advertisements to omit salary and benefits.

Petition Details

The gender pay gap is a big, and unnecessary, issue

In the interest of consistency, equality and fairness making it mandatory to enumerate salary and benefits on any job advertisement would make it clear internally and externally that a company is committed to transparency.

Even if this

is substantially correct publishing salaries on adverts is hardly going to hinder gender equality.
